Club History

Melton Cricket Club Inc was established in 1975 with the amalgamation of the Melton South Cricket Club and Melton Cricket Club.  Over the past 38 years the Melton Cricket Club has been a staple for cricketers in the City of Melton, being the only club offering 4 grades of turf cricket.

In 1986 the club made a giant step in the progression and promotion of cricket in the city, joining the Victorian Sub-District Cricket Association (VSDCA).  The VSDCA is the second highest standard of club cricket in the state.  Over the past 33 years the Melton Cricket Club has represented the City of Melton in the competition and has enjoyed great success during this period.  Over the past 10 seasons in particular the club has enjoyed unprecedented success winning a possible 12 out of 20 Premierships including 4 1stXI Premierships and 3 Club Championships.
